Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must fill and submit the application form only through the official website of Sikkim National Law University (SNLU) within the prescribed deadline.
- An application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (non-refundable) must be paid through online mode only. Candidates must upload the payment receipt and transaction details while submitting the application form. Incomplete applications without fee payment shall be rejected.
- Candidates must ensure that all details furnished in the application form are true and correct. Any discrepancy or false information may lead to cancellation of candidature/admission at any stage.
- Candidates must ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for the respective programme before applying.
- Reservation of seats shall be applicable as per the Rules and Regulations of the University. Candidates belonging to EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL categories outside the State of Sikkim shall be treated as Unreserved Category candidates.
- Candidates must appear for the SNLU Entrance Test 2026, unless exempted. Candidates who have appeared for CLAT 2026 are exempted; however, their CLAT score will be considered for merit preparation.
- Candidates must adhere strictly to all deadlines including application submission, entrance test, merit list publication, and admission confirmation. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of candidature.
- Selection shall be based on merit lists published by the University. Candidates must confirm their admission by paying the requisite fees within the stipulated time.
- Admission shall be provisional, subject to verification of original documents. Failure to produce valid documents will result in cancellation of admission.
- Candidates are advised to regularly visit the University website for updates regarding the admission process.
- All communication will be made through the registered email ID/contact details provided by the candidate. Ensure that the details are active and accurate.
- The decision of Sikkim National Law University (SNLU) regarding admission and related matters shall be final and binding.
